    Create a video blog…instantly.

A lot (and I meant ALOT) of memory space for stuff you need to get through college. So probably an HP or Macintosh. The HP is more recommened (by me) cause its lighter cause you may need to carry it around.

The best thing you can get for your laptop is Memory. A ot of people think its all about the processor but its not. I would suggest 2GB of memory or more. All a large hard drive if you plan on storing music and papers.
Another good thing to have is a backup USB flash drive or external hard drive to backup all your info just in case the laptop crashes.

    Hope this helps

Get it with plenty of space on the hard drive. 250 or more.
    2 GB Memory. DDR2 – 2.0 GHz or more.
Make sure you get a DVD drive on it.

    Brand means nothing.
That said, you need to make sure you have the proper software. Microsoft Office or Knockoff (open office).
You need a lot of RAM, the new laptops all come with Windows Vista and its a big memory hog. Screen size is also important, if your only going to keep it in your room and is not ment to go mobile often, like class to class, then a larger screen size will be a plus. If your mobile, you want good battery life and weight so a small screen size would be a better fit. Everyone makes a good laptop, just find the best price. Don’t shy away from extended warranties. When your on a tight budget in school can you really come up with the $300 for a new screen?
