If you drive it over to where?  Canada,?  I think you have to pay duty if you purchase anything over $50 value on a trip of one day over the border.  see site below for allowances and times.  If you are talking about Mexico...you are allowed to bring in a personal computer with no problem...no fees.  If you have it shipped in, there will be a 15% duty fee.</description>
