I have used macs before but only the tiger OS and i had xp at the time and loved windows because it was fast and compatible with anything and very stable as the tiger to me was confusing and was under powered cause it was a school graphics design computer so i never really used a powerful mac and I disliked macs a lot, but now its different with vista….. It took me 23 tries and 2 weeks just to get it installed onto my build and even after that it freezes almost every time I start my computer.. and i get blue screens when i play my computer games and use my programs like gimp and blender. I know this is not a virus problem cause this is when i turn on vista for the first time. I don’t know how I survived 2 whole years with this horrible OS but its a budget thing. It cost me only 700 bucks to get a quad core cpu and 4 gigs of ram and a 320 hard drive but the OS is the problem but when i do get it started its wicked fast. I am now considering on getting a mac now even though it would make me a big hypocrite but i think its worth getting rid of this vista. I have no problem on its uses and if it didn’t crash all the time I think it would have been a decent OS but it dose. I have never used a Leopard Mac except when i go to mac stores and I am a bit familiar with the OS but i don’t know if i should switch if windows 7 coming out in October. With over 7 years under production and a great beta im thinking of getting this good Sony for $1500 which is my budget. The mac is $500 dollars over budget if i get it with vista and $200 over if I don’t and some of my programs requires a windows based OS in order to run like most of my games only PC, and if it would work with the pc i have now, and im considering gaming design and macs are pretty bad at that in my opinion, and im trying to avoid using a credit card and pay it all at once because if this bad eco. So is it worth getting the mac or should i get the sony or should i wait for windows 7 to come out cause im not going to college till next year.

Even though I do have a lot of problems with vista i want to keep my desktop a pc so when windows 7 comes out and i have the mac laptop i would have the best of both worlds and i only have about $1500 saved up and a credit card which I’m afraid to use.
